Friday’s on Breed we’ll be sharing Behind the scenes or Fashion Videos Ever Made. I’m starting this series out with one that made a huge impact on me as a young, emerging photographer all the way back in 1990! It was George Michael’s “Freedom ’90” Video. This video was so well lit and so beautifully executed that us young photographers just couldn’t stop watching it! Little did we know that it was one of David Fincher’s videos who shot a ton of commercials and music videos but his name became famous after directing the movie Se7en with Brad Pitt and Fight Club, which are two of my favorite movies! It also featured all the super models of the day….Cindy, Naomi, Christy, Linda, Tatjana……and even though I was a die-hard rock and roll enthusiast and not really partial to George Michael’s music, you could find me mesmerized by the lighting, the framing, the directing and the entire mood of this video! And what almost no one really knows…it also features fashion photographer giant, Mario Sorrenti, who was a young model way back when! Hope you like this new Friday Feature. It’s simply to help inspire you! Post requests in the comments section below!
